So Friday night a bunch of us went out to Islands and to Christina's and Jemal got drunk for the first time ever! Lots of pics after the cut...

Even though I had my doubts that it would happen, MARION COTILLARD won the Oscar for Best Actress!!!! She was so cute when she accepted the award too! jemal, lily, me, and rachel even went crazy when she won (we all watched together at rachels). look at her acceptance speech below...definitely the highlight of the oscars!

So yesterday me, Rachel, Lily, and Allison picked up Jemal and Lauren from Topanga (where Jemal had had his first alcoholic drink ever lol) and we all went out to eat at islands, which was nice...here are some pictures we took after lol:

After we all hung out at Allison (minus Lauren, plus Matt) and watched "Mean Girls" lol. so that was my new year's...back to work today...at least a lot of us are gonna hang out again tonight, so thats cool. ok BYE!

Dinner & Karaoke For Jemal's Birthday!

So yesterday lily, rachel, and i took jemal out for dinner and to karaoke for his 21st birthday (which is really tomorrow night) since we werent able to be at his other party thursday night...lots of pics after the cut.

Christmas Eve At Daniela's!

So even though most of us arent christian, me, rachel, jemal, lily, allison, and mehdi all went over to danielas for a really good dinner she and her sister made...lots of pics after the cut.

In the day i went for a yummy lunch with lina and lily at nizam (and saw laura for a second lol) and then lily and i went back to her house for a bit...we (and rachel) got jemal a little later and went to danielas, where we had very good BREE cheese, a nice salad lina made, danielas famous vegan lasagna, and a ton of dessert lina made (lots of cookies and a marshmellow pie lol). anyway here are a bunch of pictures:

Rachel of course laughed really hard tonight but she thinks she laughed more hard tonight then she has ever before lol...at one point she was drinking water and started laughing and the water came out of her nose, which made her laugh even more haha:

So then we all watched the last half of "Atonement:"

we were gonna watch "Gone Baby Gone" but it turned out to be "no country for old men" which none of us wanted to see so we turned on "golden compass" but none of us really liked it so we ended up watching "fred claus" lol. but lina went to bed, lily and allison left halfway through, and jemal fell asleep so we didnt end up finishing.

so daniela and i just took jemal home. it was still a really, really, really fun night and i love it when we all get together and are happy with no drama or anything. ok night! merry christmas to all the goys lol!

I just took my last final today so im officially on winter break now!!!!! woo hoo!!!!!!!!! (I still gotta work but at least i dont have any more school to worry about til the middle of january...my second to last semester!!!).

oh and on sunday i worked on the "Survivor: China" finale so here are some photos from the red carpet...this is one of the publicists' boyfriends...he wanted to do a "tough guy" pose lol:

Today we celebrated Lily's birthday by going out to a Japanese restaurant, and then for dessert at the Cheesecake Factory...

So Daniela, Rachel, Lina and I met Lily at the restaurant (in Brentwood Gardens) and first we waited a long time for our table even though we had a reservation (and watched a kid go up and down an escalator a bunch of times lol) and then after we got seated waited a long time for lilys acting school friends to come. so we took some pictures lol:

Do dinner was good but then we decided to go next door to the cheesecake factory for dessert, which was even better lol:

Then we parted ways with the acting school friends, rented "Silkwood" and went back to danielas to watch:

The movie was kinda slow though so we watched "Kid Nation," but by the end of the night, the birthday girl was tired out from all the celebrating lol:

So last night was our last night with the Danes and we had a lot of fun at the Key Club for the Jeff Buckley tribute concert. Then today I met them (and Ed) for lunch to see them one last time, and then gave them a tour of CBS...

So yesterday after work I met them at the Beverly Connection and then we met Rachel at my house. They wanted some coffee so we went to the Coffee Bean on Sunset near the Key Club:

After we went to the Key Club for the concert, which was a really nice place…we made a reservation so we got a table up in the balcony:

After we ate, Helene and Rachel decided to go downstairs to watch:

Then today I was lucky enough (or unlucky enough lol) to see them for one last time because I met them and Ed at Johnny Rockets for a (really early) lunch. As Michael would say, “Peectures, Peectures”:

After I had a little time left (I asked for an extra half an hour for lunch) and they did too before they had to go to the airport so I took them around CBS. First we saw some soap opera sets, and then we were lucky that “The Price Is Right” wasn’t filming today:

And then, they left…I can’t believe it! It’s been such a fun two weeks with them and I’m still expecting to see them today after work. Well, im hoping REALLY badly that ill continued to get paid at CBS next semester so I can go to Denmark in the spring...ok gotta go now. BYE!

The Last Few Days With Helene, Michael, and Anders...

So here are the pictures from the last few days with Helene, Michael, and Anders...full of Rachel's laughing attacks and lots of karaoke lol (tons of pictures after the cut)...

So Tuesday the Danes (lol) came with me to one of my USC classes, which they really liked. We also watched “Truth or Dare” (I swear, it was a coincidence lol). Then we picked up rachel, met my cousins for dinner in los feliz and then went out for coffee and dessert at another place in los feliz, the alcove (without my cousins though):

So it was Anders idea to take this picture, and this, along with my imitation of the guy from Motel 6 barfing on his shirt, made rachel laugh so hard that everyone looked at us and one guy next to us even said, “can you please be quieter?” lol:

Then we went to danielas to meet her…in the car waiting for her:

So the next day the Danes came back to USC with me (but only Helene came to one of my classes). After we all went to Hell’s Kitchen where Helene became an actress, I mentioned a thousand times to the cameras something about them being from Denmark, the beef Wellington was amazing and we didn’t get dessert.

After we picked up lily and rachel and met Daniela at islands for drinks and dessert:

The waiter didn’t ask for any of our ID’s, so rachel had some drinks (on top of some shots she took at home)…let’s just say she got a little drunk. Ok not a little, REALLY drunk…it was so funny though lol:

So after we were on our way to karaoke AGAIN lol. And drunk rachel went crazy in the car:

VEGAS!!! (And Back In LA With the Danes...)

So I spent the weekend in Vegas (for the first time since I’ve turned 21…woo hoo!) with Daniela, helene, Michael, and anders (and then yesterday we were back in LA with those crazy Danes lol). Lots of pics…

So I got up really early Saturday morning and Daniela drove us to vegas. We stayed downtown with helene and company but then went to the strip. We ate dinner at a really yummy buffet in the mirage:

The next day we had to get up around 10:00 since late check-out was at 12:00…the three of us were kinda tired lol. Anyway, here are some pictures from that morning:

After Michael, anders, and I went to the rio and palms (while Daniela and helene shopped), then we all met up at paris and then went to MGM. Michael went to play poker while the rest of us saw the lions:

So then yesterday was our first full day back in LA (which I skipped class for lol). We spent the day at maria’s and UCLA and then went to Los Feliz to eat at Home (where Daniela found an interesting postcard lol):

Then we dropped Daniela off at rehearsal and went to the Santa Monica Pier, but it was closed:

After we picked Daniela up, dropped her off at home, and went to BJ’s for more drinks and dessert lol:

Weekend With Helene, Michael, and Anders...

Sorry I haven't updated the whole weekend but I've been so busy hanging out with my new favorite Danish people lol. LOTS and LOTS of pics and stuff behind the cut...

So Friday night after i finished work I met Daniela, Michael, and Anders at my house. First they tried out my exercise equipment lol:

Meanwhile, Daniela slept of course lol:

Then we watched “Shut Up & Sing” (of course) before Lily came over and the 6 of us went to eat dinner at Benihana:

After Daniela and Helene went to have a girl’s night while rachel met me, anders, and Michael. We went to look for a place on Melrose to get some drinks and had trouble finding it (and then didn’t really like it) so we ended up just buying liquor from the market and drinking it at my house while we watched “Euro Trip” lol. Michael and anders slept over also.

The next day Daniela drove me, helene, Michael, anders, phil, and lily to Disneyland! On the way there lol:

So we left about 10:30 and then went to eat at BJ’s in Irvine…here we are right before we left:

The drive home was also pretty interesting…we had to get off the 10 in the ghetto downtown because of a really bad accident that was causing the freeway to not move at all lol. Basically I didn’t get home until 3:30, which was actually 2:30 because of day light savings time, which was cool lol.

The next day (sunday) helene and everyone were supposed to leave but decided to stay an extra day, which was very cool. So I picked them up and we ate at islands and then sprinkles. After I took them to the Griffith Observatory, but it was really foggy out so that kinda sucked:

Oh, 3rd Street...

So last night after work I picked up Anders and Michael from LACMA (Helene spent the day with Ed) and we went to Amoeba and then 3rd Street with Lily (and later Swingers with Daniela).

So after Amoeba (which they both really liked) we stopped by their hotel and then stopped by the witch’s house in Beverly Hills on the way to Lily’s. They took some pictures:

Then we picked up Lily and tried finding the Playboy Mansion but I couldn’t remember which house it was lol. After we went to Third Street, where we ate dinner at CPK…Michael tried a piece of cheesecake for the first time lol:

So then we walked around the promenade for a little while and anders and Michael definitely got a feel for the local crazies lol…we saw one guy talking to himself and another who accused us of being racist after we didn’t wanna hear him beat box...and we saw this girl dressed in a banana suit dancing with a black barbershop quartet:

So then we met up with Daniela and she was hungry so we went to swingers with her. I ordered a bloody mary even though I had never tried one before and it was so gross! None of us could drink it…in fact, when lily tried it, it was so gross that it caused her to drink TAP WATER!!! Yes, it’s true, look!:

So then I took everyone home and went home myself to sleep because I was EXHAUSTED. Ok that was my day...Benihana tonight :-)!

HALLOWEEN!!!!!

So last night was HALLOWEEN and I went out with Daniela, Helene, Michael, and Anders…it was a kind of crazy, hectic night and im so tired now! Pics and such after the cut…

So I went to class and then I picked up helene, michael, and anders from Hollywood and highland. We went to their hotel so they could pick up their costumes, then went to eat at toast.

After we walked to farmer’s market (and all got pinkberry!) and then went to the grove, which they all really loved and said it looked like a cleaner version of the Copenhagen town square. Then we went to danielas to get into costume. Here is Michael in his costume, “fucked up guy” lol:

So by the time everyone got ready we didnt leave until about 9:15 and helenes friend was performing at the viper room at 10. we decided to all park at my house and order a cab to the viper room, which i ordered one on the way back from danielas.

Well, we were waiting and waiting and it didnt come...then when i called them back and they said that it was gonna be a really long time until it was gonna come. meanwhile it was already 9:45 so we decided to walk all the way from my hosue up to the viper room.

We got there at like 10:30 all sweaty and tired and we missed the band. i felt so bad even though helene kept saying she was just sad but wasnt mad at anyone. she also wasn’t feeling well which she thinks is because of the water here (she said its a lot cleaner in denmark).

Meanwhile daniela was in line at the abbey waiting for medhi (she had walked with us from my house but didnt go to the viper room). so we were on our way but she got in before we got there. When we got there and there were so many people trying to get in and they werent letting any of us in. michael hated the big crowd anyway so he and helene said they were gonna go back to the viper room.

So anders and i waited outside to try and get in and daniela and medhi came out and tried to help us but we were getting no where. so after waiting with wall to wall people and being pushed for like 30 minutes daniela and medhi came out and said its not worth it, we should all just go.

they were hungry but all the restaurants around were too crowded so we decided to walk back to my house and drive somewhere. we called helene and she and michael had already started walking back to their hotel, so we walked back to my house and picked them up from sunset and fairfax (which is where they were at the time) but they didnt wanna come out to eat.

so we dropped them off and me, anders, medhi, and daniela went to eat at mel's in Hollywood. So here are some pictures there:

so then we dropped anders back off and i didnt get home until like 3:30…it was a pretty crazy night and im so tired at work right now…I had a red bull but it didn’t give me as much energy as I had hoped lol. But it was fun last night for sure. Ok BYE!

So last night me, daniela, helene, michael, anders, and medhi all ate tacos and hung out daniela before we went out to saddle ranch for some drinks...lots of funny pics after the cut!

First though i spent a very fun morning at a table read for one of my favorite shows, "How I Met Your Mother." A little later the whole cast had a conference call with comcast subscribers, which was very cool because it was the whole cast, two publicists, and me in one room! I snuck a picture with my cell (but my finger is in it lol):

Then I went to class and after I met everyone at daniela's house. helene, michael, anders, and medhi were there...we had a very yummy taco dinner and laughed a lot. gail even brought us home some pie, ice cream, and cookies lol. here are some pictures we took:

After we finished medhi left (but met us later) and we all hung out a little before we went to their hotel so they could change. then we all went to saddle ranch for drinks...pictures!:

So anders made a bet with michael that if either of them spoke danish, they would have to chug down their whole drink (because michael kept speaking in danish lol)...well, even though it was anders' bet, he was the first to speak in danish, so he had to chug lol:

So today Helene (and her boyfriend Michael and their friend Anders) finally came all the way from Denmark!!!! Pics of them coming behind the cut...

So me, Daniela, Lily, and Jemal all drove to the airport together to pick them up! Ed (from Across the Way) met us there, and we waited for the three of them to come! Lily was in charge of video taping and I did the photographing lol. so here are the pictures:

So tonight Daniela, Lily, Catrina, and I went to the KIIS FM Homecoming concert (headlined by Gwen Stefani) and had a lot of fun (lots of pics behind the cut...)

So first we ate dinner at BJ's in irvine which was yummy (but made us miss sean kingston...oh well) and then went to Honda Center in Anaheim. even though 2 of our tickets were on the floor and 2 in the loge, we traded the floor tickets with someone who had nearby loge ones, so we all got to sit together, which was very cool. and here we are:

so the first artist we saw was Lloyd (obviously not the same guy as danielas old guitar teacher lol):

Then was the USC Marching Band during "half time":

And finally...GWEN came on!!! (the sound in the arena SUCKED though! the sound was 1,000 times better the two other times i saw gwen this year...a lot of times i could barely hear gwen over the music tonight):

So for "Cool," the other two times I saw her, Gwen went off stage to sing it. tonight though, she didnt just go off stage, but actually into the seats! she went into a section and stood on some chairs...it was so cool lol! (and funny to watch her security/body guard, Curtis, trying to keep up with her):

Daniela's 21st Birthday!

So yesterday was daniela's 21st birthday and we had a yummy day full of Vegan food...lots and lots of pics behind the cut!

So daniela called me and woke me up yesterday morning but i forgive because, u know, it was her birthday lol. i went with her, gail, jemal, lina, and papi for breakfast to real food daily. Pics!:

After breakfast i walked to rexall (because all the streets were closed near me because of the AIDS walk) and then came home for a bit before i went to danielas to give her my present and help lina with an essay. lily and catrina came a little later and we went to pick up jemal from acting class. in the car:

Then we went and bought some alcee-hall (as jemal says) and went back to danielas...i made the drink i like (bailey's irish cream, kalua, and cream) for everyone and most people liked it lol. then i took jemal home and came home...ugh this was such a fun weekend and its gonna be a bitch of a week. well anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DANIELA!!!!!!

Dixie Chicks/Eagles...Night 2!

So last night was the second (and final) time for me to see the Dixie Chicks (and the Eagles). I'm a bit sad because now I don't know when I'll see them in concert again :-(. Daniela, Jemal, and Lily came over before the concert, and then Lily, Phil, and my mom left to go there...we ate in a restaurant in the holiday inn and then were off to the concert. Pics after the cut of course...

So we actually stopped at usc before the holiday inn and i got the photo pass from the photographer that went thursday night so i could use it to sneak my camera in, which i did and it worked! i was still asked once to not take pictures, but i still got a few good ones (and natalie's hair looked so much better tonight than it did thursday night haha):

So there were some rude guys who booed pretty loudly when the eagles' glenn frey mentioned the chicks later on, which pissed me off. natalie made some funny comments though about all the rich people who paid so much for the tickets and about pot...some people were smoking it tonight so she said, "I always feel cool when I smell pot at one of my concerts...it's only happened like three times."

AND for the song "White Trash Wedding", she said how this song has been dedicated to so many people over the years...how she once dedicated it to pam anderson when she married kid rock but now actually she can probably dedicate it to her again since she just got married. she said then she used to dedicate it to k-fed on their last tour, but now since the situation has changed, she wants to dedicate it to britney tonight. haha i love her!

And then the Eagles came on (i messed up the settings of my camera right before they went on so i didnt get too many good pictures, but at least it wasnt for the dixie chicks):

So it was really fun but, like I said, I'm sad it's over. OH AND HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY, DANIELA!!!!

The Eagles and the Dixie Chicks!!!

So last night I went to the grand opening of the new Nokia Theatre (across from the Staples Center) and saw the Dixie Chicks and Eagles in concert! They were both so good and sounded amazing (the theatre is supposed to have one of the best sound systems ever). Together they played almost three hours, which is also really cool. Some pics behind the cut...

So I got tickets for Saturday night’s show, but the theatre also gave me one free ticket to review tonight’s performance for the Daily Trojan, which I jumped at taking (I wanted to go twice anyway but the tickets are about $290!).

As you probably know, I always sneak my camera in by putting it in the pocket of my cargo pants because it doesn’t set off the metal detector at the staples center. Well it set it off at the nokia theatre and they found it but let me go in with it anyway!

So I thought, ‘great, we’re allowed to take pictures!” then when the show started, they started going around to everyone and telling them not to take pictures, which didn’t make sense considering they allowed me to bring my camera in. they actually told me once not to take pictures, so I didn’t take as many as I usually do, but I still got to take a bunch…

So first the Dixie Chicks were on and they sang 12 songs, which isn’t bad for a semi-opening act/co-headliner. No one was standing up though because they were all mostly there for the eagles, which sucked. It was still great. So the Chicks went on first:

My girl, Natalie…she joked that she looked like a “sober Amy Winehouse” and that it was our fault her hair looked like that because the later we were (people didn’t start filling the theatre until 30 minutes after the show was supposed to start!), the higher it got. She said, “I’m from LA and only in LA would people pay $300 for a ticket and be half an hour late.” I LOVE HER lol!

The highlight of probably the entire night for me though was during “Not Ready to Make Nice.” The audience was sitting throughout the Chicks’ whole set (because most were probably there to mainly see the Eagles) but everyone was sooooo into this song! And Natalie totally played off the energy and got really into it herself.

I had goosebumps all over and almost (ok I said ALMOST!) got teary-eyed, especially in the song’s climax (you know, “…shut up and sing or my life will be over!”). it was amazing! I hope it’s the same Saturday night. And then everyone gave them a standing ovation after they finished. Anyway, here’s a picture towards the end of the song:

So ya it was a really cool concert and im soooooo excited to go back on Saturday! I hope both bands switch up their set lists a little bit, but we’ll see. Ok BYE!

What A Day Today, Justin Yesterday

So yesterday Lily and I saw Justin Timberlake in concert (because I got a free ticket to review it for the Daily Trojan)...I have pictures after the cut.

But first, today I went to class at USC. I parked at 2:00 on the sixth floor of my on-campus parking structure. well, when i got back to my car, i saw it had been broken into! the driver's side window was completely smashed, glass was all over the floor and my car, and my ipod was gone. look!:

I know, so fucked up! and it was horrible driving it back home with all the glass everywhere...anyway, justin pics are behind the cut...

Karaoke, Enzo's, Bronson

So yesterday Lily, Laura, Rachel, Jemal, and I went to do karaoke, followed by dinner at Enzo's in Westwood (with Lina also), followed by a very fun night with Lily, Jemal, Bronson and Keenya...(lots of pics so give them a chance to load please)...

So marcus called me and told me that his and his sister's friend, Bronson, was in town with his friend Keenya because she was moving to Palm Springs. especially since i was gonna be hanging out with bronson a lot when i go to north carolina in december, i was pretty excited so i called him and we agreed to meet up later. so then i went to lilys where we watched madonna and then picked up everyone else to do karoke...pics:

It was pretty fun...so then we picked lina up and all went out to eat at Enzo's in westwood (where we saw a cockaroach on the floor when we got there lol...it was pretty gross but the food was ok):

So after we dropped lina, rachel, and laura off and went to pick bronson and keenya up in hollywood, where they had been with a bunch of famous people (including kathy griffin!) outside an entertainment weekly emmy party lol. they were really cool and so funny.

it was pretty late though so all we could think of to take them was to see the sunset strip and beverly hills, but i think they thought it was cool...we showed them the (former) osbourne house, the playboy mansion (where all these range rovers were in front of, it was weird), and the witch's house lol:

So then i dropped lily off, dropped jemal off, stopped at taco bell so bronson and keenya could get some drinks, and dropped them off...it was pretty fun but i didnt get to bed until like 4:00!!! i cant wait to see them again today though...ok g2g. BYE!
